San Diego Tenant Representation is a part of Synergy Real Estate Group, Corporate Advisory (Synreg.com), a California commercial real estate tenant representation firm established in order to give tenants more leverage in their San Diego commercial real estate lease and sale transactions. We believe San Diego office space tenants should receive unbiased advice, up-to-the-minute market information and aggressive representation in negotiations.
It is our steadfast policy to never represent Landlords, only Tenants. This eliminates any conflict that can result from trying to represent the interests of both sides. It also ensures that our loyalties lie solely as the Tenant’s Advocate. John Galaxidas formed Synergy Real Estate Group, Corporate Advisory in June 2004. His vision was to give San Diego and all major markets in the US a powerful advocate, by providing them expert office tenant representation. Today, Synergy is acknowledged as the largest alliance of independent tenant advisors in North America and the most advanced forward thinking and advanced tenant representation firm in San Diego.
Prior to founding Synergy Real Estate Group, Corporate Advisory, Inc., John worked for CBRE, Corporate Real Estate Services setting up Tenant Representation practices in Fresno, Salt Lake and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Prior to working for CBRE, John worked for Cushman & Wakefield, Corporate Real Estate Services assisting DHL move their US headquarters from San Francisco to Fort Lauderdale and as part of the DHL/Airborne Express merger, headed the corporate advisory team to help the two companies merge and dispose of duplicate property throughout the US. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, John worked for Ernst & Young LLC, Corporate Real Estate Advisory Service, assisting Fortune 500 companies with their real estate needs. While at Ernst & Young LLP, John assisted Hewlett-Packard on a world-wide basis through the real estate separation of Agilent Technologies, a separate company created by HP. Prior to Ernst & Young LLC, John was an Appointee of California Governor Pete Wilson as Assistant Deputy Director to the Department of General Services, Real Estate Services Division. As an appointee of the Governor, John assisted the Governor dispose of State Surplus property such as the former Agnews State Mental Hospital sold to Sun Microsystems and sold a 120 acre State surplus parcel to Cisco Systems, oversaw the construction of the largest Data Center in California, the Stephen P. Teale Data Center and many other State building construction projects and private sector leasing transactions.
John is a graduate of the University of Pacific with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with post graduate studies in Real Estate and Finance at Stanford University and UC Berkeley. John lives in San Diego with his wife Nicole and child, Christiana.
